Film Studies is designed to develop students' interest in and appreciation of cinema, by looking at: (a) The film text - the 'language' of film, spectatorship and how that 'language' is 'read'; (b) Producers and audiences with particular reference to Hollywood and British Cinema in the AS year; this is extended to international film in A2.
