The Future Writers programme may be run by the English Department but is aimed at all students who enjoy writing creatively. If you have passion and flair for creative writing, this elective will develop your skills of written expression and use of literary technique across a range of writing modes. Whether you are considering a creative writing degree, a career in publishing or just like the idea of writing as a hobby, this elective will provide you with the encouragement and opportunity to express your own ideas and thoughts in a striking and deeply individual manner, while learning a great deal about the power of the written word along the way.
