English Literature A Level

This course encourages knowledge and understanding of a range of literary texts including Prose, Poetry and Drama. You will read a variety of texts and will be expected to conduct significant independent reading. You will engage with texts and apply your knowledge of literary analysis and critical theories to the works studied. You should enjoy reading and be prepared to read set texts independently outside of taught classroom sessions, in addition to extensive wider reading.
