You must enrol/attend a Step into Beauty course/interview prior to enrolling on this course. This course offers the opportunity to gain a full level 2 in Beauty Therapy preparing you for employment or self employment. Treatments include manicure, pedicure, waxing, facials, eyelash/eyebrow tinting and shaping. It covers health and safety, promotion of services and products to clients, plus maintenance of the therapist's effectiveness at work and reception. The theory includes anatomy and physiology. Learners will be required to practice on each other and salon clients. This course runs on Monday and wednesday evening every week with an additional 3 hours a week home study. A kit will be included in the cost of the course. If you are pregnant - or thinking of becoming pregnant - please ask for our supplementary guidance sheet. Please bring your own lunch as lunch is not provided.
