Be part of the Green Team! Whether you are just starting out, or already working in the exciting and worthwhile field of horticulture, this course offers a great opportunity to improve practical skills and to gain valuable underpinning knowledge, all within the grounds of our outstanding Grade 2 historic gardens at Kingston Maurward. You can choose to follow one of three pathways: Amenity Horticulture, Hard Landscaping or Sports Turf (including Greenkeeping). You can progress your career in Horticulture and become a supervisor or manager with the Advanced Apprenticeship in Horticulture where you can follow a pathway in Sports Turf or Parks, Gardens and Green Spaces. The completion of your portfolio will typically take between 12-18 months depending upon your skills and experience.
