This course provides the practical skills and knowledge that will help you gain employment in agriculture. You will acquire a wide range of knowledge, practical skills and industry experience from both your studies and work experience on a local farm. The course includes husbandry of crops, livestock, estate skills, farm machinery operation and maintenance. Employment prospects for qualified and experienced young people with the right attitude are excellent as the industry is experiencing a skills shortage. The course is specially designed to develop practical skills and produce students who are able to operate machinery and look after livestock and crops to a high standard.
