For full A Level History (2 years of study with exams at the end of year one and final exams at the end of year two) - The Full A Level course will be taught through three modules over the course of both Year 12 and Year 13. The aim of the course is to provide students with both a broad and deep understanding of an element of both British and European History focusing on continuity and change over chronological time periods. The units of study will cover a 200 year time period and will develop the skills of source analysis, essay technique and independent research and enquiry. You will study 19th and 20th century Russia with a focus on Tsarist and Soviet Russia 1855 - 1964 and Modern Britain, 1951 - 2007. As well as these two modules, the third module will be a personal, individual study of 3500 words based on student choice.
