This is an integrated course in which you will use and evaluate different literary and linguistic approaches to the study of written and spoken language. Modules to be studied include an analysis of literary and non-literary texts based on a common theme; language change over time; text and genre and the opportunity to develop your own expertise as writers. Coursework is a part of the course.
