A level Health & Social:This course is a vocationally focused A Level. It is structured flexibly to give you plenty of choice so that the qualification you achieve will be highly individual according to your personal aptitudes, interests and ambitions. This course is designed to provide vocational enhancement to Biology, Psychology, Sport/PE and Sociology. In Year 12 you will have the opportunity to study two units and in Year 13 a further two units will be completed. This course suits students who enjoy studying through independent coursework assignments. Throughout the course you will have the opportunity to interact with the health, social care and early years sectors allowing you the opportunity to experience the work environment through learning. Examples include Work Experience and Work Shadowing, links with local employers, visits and case studies.
