This grade does not contribute to the A level grade if you choose to continue to study to A level, however the subject knowledge is exactly the same as the full A level content. • A level Physics is a separate qualification from AS Physics. The whole of the subject content is examined through final exams in the summer exam season of year 13. Practical Skills Throughout the course students will carry out set practical activities, their knowledge of these techniques is included within the examination papers completed for AS and A level Physics. Enrichment Activities Throughout the course visiting speakers and external visits are organised when opportune to widen student’s knowledge and appreciate the impact of Physics beyond the specification. A physics clinic is available during a timetabled lesson outside of the option blocks.
