This course is for highly organised students who are good at working in a team and prefer continual assessment rather than examinations. Whether they merely have a passion for the Performing Arts in general, are keen to experience first hand experience of working 'behind the scenes' or want to support their on stage skills with a broader range of knowledge making them more employable in the future then this is the perfect course for them. The BTEC courses are designed to be as practical and work based as possible which means students will often find themselves planning, organising, preparing for and running college and local productions and events. An ability to work consistently and to deadlines is essential and at times learning will take place outside of the college and timetable. Excellent facilities in a purpose built studio are available to students on this course.
