Chemistry helps us to develop a deeper understanding of the properties of materials, how they interact and how to make new materials. It develops a deeper understanding of the world around us. To be a successful chemist you should have a clear logical mind with very good problem solving abilities. Practical skills will be developed over a series of experiments during the year to allow development in this key area.
