Childcare, Learning and Development Level 2 Apprenticeship

For candidates to work towards their Level 2 in Children's Care, Learning and Development they must be working in a childcare setting. This can be a private nursery, school environment, after school care or childminding. Candidates must be closely supervised and supported through areas such as child observation and planning. They can be given some independence if suitable, but not as much as when undertaking the level 3 qualification.
