Psychology is a social science that studies the mind and behaviour of individuals. It is a fascinating subject which is new to most students and suitable for a diverse range of career paths. This course will allow you to develop an understanding of psychological terms and concepts and apply psychological theories to examples of human behaviour. AS focuses on approaches in psychology, research methodology, attachment, memory, psychopathology and social influence. At A level the topics include debates, gender development, forensic psychology and schizophrenia.
