This programme prepares young people for the world of work through a community project and offers support with Maths and English through interesting activities related to the workplace. Trainees will also develop employability skills and work towards a Level 1 Award in Job Search and Interview Skills. This qualification has been developed in partnership with Reed Employment Agency. If you're 16-19 years (or up to 24 years on 31st August 2016 if you have an Educational Health Care Plan) and achieved less than a D in English and Maths GCSE this may be the programme for you. You will need to show a keen interest in developing your Maths and English skills and be motivated to learn. You will need to have an interview and assessment to make sure this programme is right for you and to determine which level to undertake; our staff will support you through that process.
