UPDATED 20161016 08:18:19

This interesting new course allows students to develop and produce innovative designs for a range of products. Students will be working with a range of wood, metals and plastics. It will give individuals the opportunity to expand practical skills with regular ‘hands on’ tasks. There will be the opportunity to study the ‘design movements’ through the years and to look at how these can help to create original design proposals. Students will be required to design and make products which can be tested and evaluated. The course encourages the development of independent learning, creativity and innovation. A Level The A Level course further extends knowledge, understanding and skills acquired in the AS course. A high level of ICT, organisation and presentation skills are important. 3D Studies provide students with the freedom and opportunity to express creative and innovative designs.
