This course will introduce you to a wide range of topics dedicated to careers within the Children and Young People's Workforce. Consisting of 11 mandatory units and various optional units depending upon your desired or actual job role these units will include practical and innovative learning in: Introduction to Communication Introduction to Personal Development Introduction to Equality and Inclusion Child and Young Person s Development Safeguarding the Welfare of Children and Young People Contribute to Children and Young People s Health and Safety Support Positive Behaviour Understand Partnership Working The duration of the course is 20 weeks with a minimum 12 hours per week in the workplace volunteer/paid and a 3 hour session in college is required each week.
