Choosing to continue your education at Sixth Form level will give you the chance to pursue your interest in subjects which interest you at a higher level. As a Sixth Form student we want you to be able to realise your academic potential, whilst developing the personal and social skills which will equip you for life beyond education. We also want to ensure you are given every support in planning your chosen route past Sixth Form education, whether it is to university or to full time employment. Both tutor groups and subject classes remain small and entirely able to focus on you as an individual and, as a result, staff are able to support you as an individual. This course is based on real life work and studies. It will allow you to demonstrate your skills and knowledge in a range of situations. You will build your confidence in the subject using role plays practical tasks and written assingments. You need to be able to meet deadlines and manage your own workload. Your progress will be monitored with guidance and personal support given by your teachers. By the end of this course you will not only have increased your breadth and depth of IT knowledge but also have developed your own learning and independent study skills.
