Mathematics A level enables students to develop analytical skills and draw conclusions. As well as the 4 Core Units students also study Mechanics and Statistics. Mathematics is a subject that teaches the facility to deal with abstract concepts, develop numerous key skills that can be applied to other academic subjects and career paths. It develops critical thinking and problem solving skills and the facility to equal with abstract concepts. A grade at GCSE is required to study Mathematics at A level.
