Biology A Level includes units in the Foundations of Biology, Exchange and Transport and Biodiversity, Evolution and Disease, Genetics, Evolution and Ecosystems and Communications, Homeostasis and Energy. Students should be inquisitive, interested in life and how living things work. They will need to be numerate, confident in handling numbers and statistics and prepared to work hard and learn lots of new information . Students will apply information learnt to new problems and should be able to work independently and in groups.
