This short course will involve demonstrations of various floral and natural designs which would make beautiful seasonal gifts and/or decorations for the home, work and public places. Fresh, artificial and dried materials may be used. Learners will gain more confidence in working on the design and construction of both traditional and contemporary work. This is a non vocational course. However, a College Certificate may be issued upon request.You will learn through demonstrations, discussions, observation and practice.Students can potentially progress to the City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Floristry or the Advanced Contemporary Floral Design & Floristry. The college also runs a Flowers for Easter course in the Spring term.
