The course is delivered by distance learning using extensive support materials and contact with a named support tutor/assessor. The three units of the programme involve a total of 90 hours study over a 3-6 month period. This is a Vocationally Recognised Qualification (VRQ), giving underpinning knowledge related to the candidates working environment. The course is taught using a portfolio of resource materials and assignments with 9 hours of contact from a named tutor/assessor in the candidates workplace.
