The course covers a balance physical and human geography in the course, but the emphasis is on the impacts of people on the environment, and vice-versa. There is very little 'pure' physical Geography, so the course aims to be as relevant as possible to students' lives. Contemporary themes and issues are covered in detail throughout. The AS course covers two modules; Global Challenges and Geographical Investigations.
