A Level Mathematics

UPDATED 20161010 10:24:41

A level Mathematics will extend your knowledge of various areas of Mathematics, some of which you will have covered at GCSE, some of which will be brand new. Some areas you will have the opportunity to study are finding the gradients of curves and areas under curves- possibly one of the most important discoveries in mathematics of the last millennia; motion and forces- Why do thing move the way they do? How do we know a bridge won't fall down? Probability and statistics- how do we know if two things have a relationship or not? How does Google predict what people want to search for?
