At A Level the course is not simply the study of the French language, but the civilisation and culture of France as well. You must be prepared to take every opportunity to speak, read widely, listen to the radio and watch television, all in French. There is the opportunity to complement your other studies by pursuing particular areas of interest in greater depth, and developing a personal and independent response to them.
