Theory of Physical Education

The course takes a multidisciplinary approach to the varied and interesting fields of PE and sport. Topics such as: mental focus, physical fitness and movement analysis allow you to see how different concepts integrate to produce optimal performance. Socio-cultural aspects explore how sports organisations and the Olympic Games impact upon participation and success in sport. The interaction of practical with theory is essential to your understanding and is combined where possible. You will learn to critically evaluate sport, develop communication skills and work as a team.
