It includes jobs in airlines and hotels, with tour operators and travel agents or involving tourist attractions, conferences and events, hospitality and entertainment. The course focusses on key issues in the industry such as: activities of travel organisations; recent developments and trends in the travel industry; how to plan a tourism event; reasons that UK destinations appeal to people and key needs of different tourist groups & how they are met.
