Teaching Assistants - NVQ - Level 2 - Group Y

This course is offered by attendance at College half a day a week or by workplace learning. You will cover a wide range of skills which are needed to become a Teaching Assistant and which meet the support needs of schools. For this course you will need to be working or in a placement in a primary or secondary school to gain the workplace experience needed for the course. This is a distance learning programme covering mandatory and optional units. Units will include topics such as supporting learning activities, safeguarding, promoting equality and diversity and inclusive work, and supporting positive behaviour.
