Dip in Painting and Decorating

As a second year apprentice or trainee, you will learn the following: basic specialist decorative effects, specialist decorating tools and their uses, cleaning and maintenance, trade level painting and wall papering techniques and about the materials that you will use. You will also learn how to use portable power tools, how to work safely - including working from height using access equipment. You will further explore the building team and how it works together as a team and how to communicate and work effectively with others. Additionally you will further explore building methods and construction technology as part of this course and learn how to quantify materials required for the work you will be expected to do.
