Geography

Geography (AQA) The Geography course is designed to promote and raise awareness and understanding of issues involving people, places and environments. The course contains elements of 'traditional' Geography, such as Rivers and Population but also incorporates more recent concepts such as The Geography of Health and sustainability. Fieldwork is an integral part of the course and integrated throughout. Students undertake a residential week in Yorkshire to develop a range of investigative skills. Geography bridges the gap between arts and sciences, giving students flexibility in future academic studies and a broad understanding of many aspects of the curriculum.
