Geography

UPDATED 20161006 11:35:55

Geography is the study of Earth's landscapes, people, places and environment and therefore bridges the social sciences (Human Geography) with the natural sciences (Physical Geography) and forms the backbone of the Humanities Faculty at Elliott Hudson College. A Level Geography will enable students to develop an understanding and knowledge of different geographical concepts. Geography is highly valued by universities and the discipline is referred to as a facilitating subject (Russell Group, 2011): one that gives A Level students the skills to succeed in Higher Education and the world of work.
