In Year 2, we look at the themes in more detail, expanding on the issues and problems in contemporary Hispanic society and also study political life in the Hispanic-speaking world. There will be an introduction to contemporary Hispanic literature and you will study a novel in Spanish in preparation for the written exam. For the oral exam, you will pick an aspect of the course that has interested you and you will have the opportunity to research it in greater depth to give a presentation to your teacher for your oral exam.
