In Year 2, we look at the themes in more detail, expanding on the issues and problems in contemporary French society and also study political life in the French-speaking world. There will be an introduction to contemporary French literature and you will study a novel in French in preparation for the written exam. For the oral exam, you will pick an aspect of the course that has interested you and you will have the opportunity to research it in greater depth to give a presentation to your teacher for your oral exam
