A Level Economics

By acquiring a thorough knowledge of basic concepts and principles, the underlying aim of the Economics course is to enable each student to think and act like an Economist. Current economic issues, economic problems and institutions are critically examined. The course focuses on an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the market economy and the role of the government within it. Candidates can also extend their understanding of appropriate micro and macro aspects of Economics. Students will be required to apply their knowledge to a wide range of contexts and to hone their analytical and communication skills.
