If you want to follow a career in providing care for horses at an assistant level and developing specialist experience in managing and riding horses, this is the course for you.   This course offers you experience in horse care, providing a specialised approach for progression on the Level 3 Diploma or into employment in the equestrian sector.    Your studies will be enriched with experience at local equestrian centres where you will develop skills in caring for and riding horses.   A study tour and visits to shows are important aspects of the course, allowing you to appreciate the diverse range of career opportunities and organisations within the equine sector. Entry requirements

Trips and visits to equine related events are important aspects of the programme allowing you to appreciate the diverse range of career opportunities and organisations within the sector. Students will be asked for a contribution of £100, payable at the start of the course, to cover visits and guest speakers.Polo shirts are available to purchase from the college at £6 each and must be worn to practical placements.Students are also required to buy their own personal protective equipment.
