Performing Arts Level 3

UPDATED 20161005 12:03:45

Our Performing Arts course at Trowbridge embraces aspects of acting, singing and dance as key disciplines, preparing you with the confidence and skills to take to higher education, employment and possibly drama school. If you have a passion for Performing Arts and are keen to explore the field further, develop your own skills and have ambitions to work in the performing arts or related industries, this is the course for you! We have a state of the art professional studio theatre - The Arc Theatre - in which Drama and Music are taught, as well as specialist Dance and Drama Studios. You will start the year with a devised performance which will feature acting, dance and singing before developing your skills over the winter before your first major public performance shortly before Easter. In the second year, you will get the chance to direct a single act play of your choice, or devise your own performance, to public audiences at The Arc Theatre. You could also develop and tour your own devised show to local schools in the area. There is provision for subject specific public performances with a Dance only Showcase and highly popular Music Performance Evening at the end of the year.
