This course offers you the opportunity to gain GCSEs in English, Maths and Science which you need to progress to Access to HE and to many other higher-level courses.  You will also develop the skills necessary for successful study at Level 2 and beyond. This year-long programme  is offerend at Chippenham and Salisbury, starting w/c 12 September 2016.  This is a substantial commitment, with 11 hours' study in college.  You should expect to spend at least the same amount of time on independent study. It is also available as a short course, starting in January, at Trowbridge and Salisbury.  This is an extremely intensive course. You will need to be able to commit to at least 30 hours’ study per week, in college and on your own.  You should work no more than 15 hours per week, paid or voluntary work You will need to be able to attend three full days of study, commencing week beginning January 9th 2017. NOTE: THIS COURSE IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS AGED 19 OR OVER.

Books may need to be purchased. You may choose to buy some of the recommended texts, although some copies of relevant texts will be available in the Library.
