Millinery - Wedding & Bridal Headwear

This course offers you the unique opportunity to design and make your own striking tiara, flowered headband, wired lace headdress veil or hair vine. You will learn a range of millinery techniques and be introduced to a wide variety of materials that can be used to design and construct your special bridal headpiece. Topics covered include basic stitch and construction techniques. You will learn how to measure the head for shaping a headband or wired frame. You will learn to assemble and decorate a finished piece by attaching fabric flowers, bridal lace, veiling, beads or diamante pieces and hair fastening
