This course will help you develop transferable creative skills between art and design disciplines. During the course you will be introduced to some of the materials, techniques and processes associated with a range of 2D and 3D disciplines which could include Painting, Printmaking, Ceramics, Photography, Graphic Design and Fashion and Textiles. In addition to this you will expand your contextual understanding of Art and Design and develop your research skills. The qualification has been designed as a one year full time qualification with the posibilty of Progression to the second year Extended Diploma Art and Design.

The course is Unit based and presents both continuous and external assessment whereby your progress can be accurately tracked and assessed throughout the programme, offering you the opportunity to improve your grades.
