Level 3 Product Design with Graphics and Materials is a 2 year A level course. Students will study 4 units, split equally over 2 years. These will comprise 2 coursework units and 2 theory work units. Coursework project: Project themes are chosen by students. Current projects include designing a green allotment for Bushbury and a Range Rover showroom. Students must identify a client and tailormake a product to his or her wishes. A whole concept from logos to packaging and advertising needs to be created. 50% A2 marks. End of year exam: Further Knowledge of Materials and Practices, 50% A2 marks
