This programme is designed for those candidates who wish to enhance their communication skills within their primary role and is the start of training towards becoming a qualified counsellor. The Counselling Skills programme centres around developing effective and reflective communication skills. The course centres around deconstructing our normal patterns of relating in order to develop the required skills to centre another individuals frame of reference. This course will also engage the candidate in self awareness and personal reflection through experiential and self awareness. Assessment is through a range of techniques including essays, presentations, portfolios of evidence, case review, role play and exam. Cost is subject to change
