This is an exciting opportunity for you to learn different types of careers in construction at a trade level. For example, brickwork, carpentry, joinery, plumbing, electrical installation and construction drawing. The course has been developed to give you a basic awareness of working in construction and a good understanding of health and safety in construction. The course is an exciting opportunity to try a career in Construction. The tutors are experience in the construction industry and might be able to provide an opportunity for an apprenticeship or full time employment in the construction industry. Please note the diploma programme is delivered in two separate parts. Certificate - September 2016 to April 2017 Diploma - April 2017 - July 2017 Students must complete the certificate in order to take the diploma.
