This course provides students wishing to join the construction industry as bricklayers with the broad knowledge, understanding and skills to become qualified within Site Bricklaying. Units studied range from: Know how to carry out safe working practices in construction to knowledge of building methods and construction technology and from building methods and construction technology to carry out basic cavity walling. All tools and equipment will be available during the course to allow learners to complete successfully Please note the diploma programme is delivered in two separate parts. Certificate - September 2016 to April 2017 Diploma - April 2017 - July 2017 Students must complete the certificate in order to take the diploma.
