The supply chain and logistics is a growing sector that plays a major role in the UK and global economy. This apprenticeship has been developed to develop the apprentice with the necessary skills needed for the workplace and logistics operations and ensure the supply chain flows smoothly or to action unforeseen circumstances appropriately to time, cost and location. People and problem solving skills includes liaising with a range people including suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers, logistics operations team leader / section supervisor. Level 3 would suit those with prior experience and looking to lead a team or supervision or those whom may have responsibilities of goods. This diploma in logistics and storage includes the award in food safety supervision for logistics at level 3.The certificate at level 3 covers health safety and security at work, optimising the use of logistics resources and effectively contributing to a logistics business. It also has options which include customer service, leadership and improving performance, minimising environmental impact, international road transport operations, and application of technology.
