What will I study? You will study for two days a week at college and 350 placement hours (during the duration of the course). Depending on take up - we do have the option of delivering this course in the evenings - please indicate if this is your preference. This course is suitable for those who want to workwith children under the age of 5. You will be completing 23 units under 4 themes: Theme 1: Health and Well -being Theme 2: Legislation, frameworks and professional practice Theme 3: Play, development and learning for school readiness Theme 4: Professional development What form does the assessment take? Portfolio of evidence and being observed by a qualified assessor in your workplace setting By the end of the course you will have the qualification to meet the criteria required for those wishing to become Early Years Educator.
