The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualifications are widely recognised by employers, both in the UK and overseas. This Certificate course provides a comprehensive introduction to accounting principles and comprises 5 modules in: - Basic costing - Computerised accounting - Working effectively in accounting and finance - Processing bookkeeping transactions - Control accounts, journals and the banking system You will develop a solid understanding of manual and computerised accounts using Sage and apply these to real-life situations. The course is suitable for those with little or no related experience including school/college leavers, career changers or people returning to work. Comprehensive support and materials will be available from course tutors and on the AAT website. The course fee includes assessment fees for up to 2 attempts. There will also be additional costs of approximately 250.00GBP for AAT registration and membership fees, and study resources. Funding and loans may be available for this course and we will assess you at the time of interview. Classes will be held on Tuesday from 9.30 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. for 32 weeks.
