Functional skills qualifications are intended to support learners as they seek to improve their literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. We assign personal tutors to all learners undertaking this award. Achieving an ICT qualification should increase learners’ confidence and motivation, and the skills they gain will be valuable in the workplace or in any further learning. We offer this qualification through two routes either as part of an Apprenticeship programme or as a standalone qualification. Pilot: bringing workplace skills to life.
