This course helps us to understand how humans make important ethical decisions. In ethics you will look at question like, how do we know what is right and wrong? The ethical theories you will look at include Utilitarianism, Situation Ethics, Kantian Ethics and Christian Ethics, Ethical Theory, Medical Ethics (abortion, euthanasia, genetic engineering), War and Peace and Sexual Ethics. In Philosophy you will study arguments about the existence of God, Classical Greek Philosophers (Socrates, Plato and Aristotle), evil and suffering, life after death, religious experiences and much more. You will consider religious views as well as non-religious views. Underpinning this qualification there is an in-depth study of one religion
