This one-year, full-time course consists of two qualifications. The main qualification is the BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma, which comprises both theoretical, academic study and some practical, work-related assignments. Alongside the Diploma you will also study the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Introduction to Cabin Crew, which consists of six units, studied one morning per week. This qualification will enhance your main Diploma, providing you with the knowledge and skills associated with working in the aviation industry. The course is aimed at individuals who have a keen interest in the travel, tourism, and aviation industry. Units of study (Level 3 Diploma): Investigating the Travel and Tourism Sector The Business of Travel and Tourism The UK as a Destination Customer Service in Travel and Tourism Preparation for Employment Handling Air Passengers Units of study (Level 2 Cabin Crew): Introduction to Cabin Crew Health, Safety, and Security Aircraft Emergency Situations Handling Different Passengers Requirements Cabin Service Skills Passenger Announcements Your course will be a mixture of written assignments, research-based tasks, case study reviews, presentations, role play, and observations.
