GCSE English Evening

This course is of interest to those who wish to improve their skills in English and gain a new qualification as well as to those who wish to improve their grade having already taken this qualification. The course is interactive and student centred and we try to tailor it to your interests. Studying GCSE English will allow you to build your confidence in your written and spoke communication skills with the guidance of one of our expert tutors who are all keen to ensure that the GCSE experience is rewarding and enjoyable as well as academically challening. Many employers require GCSE English as a qualification before your application can be considered particularly in the public sector. It is the nationally recognised qualification at Level 2 in professions such as the Police Force the Fire Service Nursing Local Government Social Work and Teaching. If you wish to study A Levels you will need a C in GCSE English and all teachers are required to have a Level 2 qualification in English and in Maths. Universities also require these qualifications as they are mandatory for Higher Education courses.
